Gauger Estate Newsletter – May 2025 Edition

Bringing you updates from the Farm, the Lodge, and our community of dreamers and doers.

🌻 On the Farm

Fay Flower & Food Farm is in full swing! We’ve been busy planting blooms for this summer’s U-Pick Pop-Ups, and our veggie rows are already showing off fresh greens and spring onions. This season we’re excited to share:

  • A New Roadside Farm Stand construction begins this month and we hope to have it functional by the first or second week of June.

  • Catch us at Local Farmers Markets! We just attended our first market of the season in Hannibal on Tuesday. We’re looking forward to joining the Fulton & Oswego markets this season as well.

  • Monthly U-Pick Pop-Ups begin in July! Come build your own bouquet, grab a treat from a local vendor, and enjoy live music on the farm.

  • Planting Parties are happening weekly—stop by to lend a hand and learn something new. Every Saturday for the rest of the spring

  • Happy to welcome Freedom Blooms Farms to the property. They’re leasing farm land from us to grow a myriad of edible plants and flowers to be arranged and used for tea making.

  • Our first flush of microgreens is heading out to local farmers markets—ask us how to get some!

Have farm questions or want to volunteer? Reach out—there’s always something growing here.

🏕 At the Lodge

The G Lodge is waking up for the season! We’ve been deep cleaning, repairing, and making magic behind the scenes to get ready for our busiest summer yet. A few updates:

  • Camping Passes are now required for most weekend events. All sites are first come, first serve.

  • The two A-Frame cabins are freshly prepped and ready to rent.

  • We’re adding more signage and updating infrastructure to better serve guests while preserving our rustic charm.
